Church Membership For Lutherans Transferring from other LC-MS Churches. 

Those desiring transfer from a LC-MS church are expected to:

• Attend the membership class. 

• Establish a regular worship pattern for at least three months. (at least half of the Sundays during this period)

• Sign a “Four-Fold Expectations of Members” commitment form.

• Takes steps to get connected with St. John’s in one or more of the different groups and activities that are offered.

• Prayerfully consider making a stewardship pledge to the church… general and building.

Once a person meets these conditions, the elders will inform the voters and those desiring transfer will be received into membership in a worship service.

Variation to this procedure will be at the discretion of the Pastor and the Board of Elders.
