What We Believe

At St. John’s, we believe:
that we are sinners who cannot save ourselves and deserve only death
that God sent Jesus, His Son, to pay for our sins by sacrificing Himself
that we are now redeemed children of God who will live with Him forever
that out of gratitude for our salvation, we want to live our lives for Jesus
that it is a priority for us to tell others what Jesus has done for us
that we should gather regularly to worship our Savior
that we should love our neighbors as ourselves
that God’s Holy, inspired, inerrant, Word is complete and the foundation of all that we believe, teach and confess
that we are and will remain a member congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod because the Synod is in agreement of doctrine with St. John’s.
